Our Partners
Traveling Toys, Inc., operated entirely by volunteers, began its mission by partnering with public libraries and has since expanded to include a hospital and a middle school. The organization’s goal is to bring the benefits of play to locations where toy libraries can have the greatest impact. These pilot programs represent the first of many anticipated collaborations in the future.
To date, Traveling Toys has partnered with 42 public libraries serving 39 towns across Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts to establish toy lending libraries that meet the unique needs of their communities. These inclusive collections welcome families from all cultural, educational, and financial backgrounds.

Hospital Play Spaces
Through our partnership with Kids Operating Room (KidsOR), we have provided funding to create 3 play spaces within the children's waiting rooms at Saint Nicholas Children's Hospital in Lviv, Ukraine. These spaces bring comfort and play to children and families during challenging times. The new play spaces opened in October 2025.

School Toy Library
Traveling Toys is proud to introduce its first school partnership with Pulaski Middle School in New Britain, which serves 872 students in grades 6 through 8. As part of this collaboration, the school will establish a toy library to offer play and learning opportunities for children and teens who may not have access to the public library. This partnership allows us to reach even more young people within the school community.
